About

Queens always wear tiaras.
Joy Felkey writes literary fiction and historical speculative fiction, with a particular affection for the stories families tell—and the ones they refuse to.
Based in Atlanta, Joy is an MFA candidate at Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA). Her work explores unreliable memory, inheritance, grief, desire, and the uneasy border between history and the imagination.
She is developing short fiction and a historical dark-fantasy novel that moves between the present and fifteenth-century Milan.
